The NOCSAE board of directors represents a diverse and passionate group of sport and medical professionals who work together toward the common goal of reducing sport-related injuries. They serve without compensation.

NOCSAE board member Tony Beam

Tony Beam represents the National Athletic Equipment Reconditioners Association on NOCSAE’s board of directors. He has been a board member since 2017. Tony is executive director of the National Athletic Equipment Reconditioners Association and owner at Fit-Tone Personal Fitness. He has worked with athletes of all ages and abilities as a coach and performance trainer for over twenty-five years, and regularly teaches sports leadership courses for high school athletes. Tony received a degree in Sports and Exercise Science from Messiah College and an athletic administrator’s certification from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association. He is also a member of the American Equipment Managers Association.

The National Athletic Equipment Reconditioners Association is an association of athletic equipment reconditioners with a mission to increase awareness and acceptance of high-quality athletic equipment reconditioning and recertification. NAERA members are licensed by NOCSAE to recertify football, lacrosse, softball and baseball helmets, and face guards.
