Public Meetings

NOCSAE’s Board of Directors welcomes all interested parties to attend our Standards Committee meetings. These meetings are open to the public to ensure transparency and to gather data, perspectives, and feedback from anyone interested in the standards under review.

Meeting Schedule

The Standards Committee meets twice each year, once in the winter and once in the summer.

During each session, the Committee reviews and discusses proposed modifications to athletic equipment safety standards and considers recommended revisions for approval. The Chair of NOCSAE’s Scientific Advisory Committee and NOCSAE’s Technical Director also present reports to support the Committee’s work.

If you have questions or comments related to agenda items for the upcoming meeting, please submit them in advance to Executive Director John Parsons. Providing comments ahead of time helps us keep the meeting on schedule.

NOCSAE encourages all interested parties to share comments, suggestions, objections, or other feedback on any standard under consideration, as well as on any existing NOCSAE standards, even if they are not listed on the current meeting agenda.
