

The NOCSAE board of directors represents a diverse and passionate group of sport and medical professionals who work together toward the common goal of reducing sport-related injuries. They serve without compensation.

NOCSAE Board President Kenneth Stephens

Dr. Kenneth Stephens represents the American College Health Association on NOCSAE’s board of directors. Ken has served on the board for more than thirty years, including more than twenty years as NOCSAE president, helping to lead the organization in our efforts to protect college athletes through equipment performance standards. Before his retirement, Ken was a faculty member, director of Institutional Services, and team physician for Athletics at the University of Cincinnati where he worked for over thirty-nine years. He received his MD from the Indiana University School of Medicine.

The ACHA represents over 700 institutions of higher education, advocating for the health and wellness of college students, including college athletes. The organization works to enhance college students’ health through advocacy, education, and research.
