The NOCSAE board of directors represents a diverse and passionate group of sport and medical professionals who work together toward the common goal of reducing sport-related injuries. They serve without compensation.

NOCSAE board member Bob Colgate

Bob Colgate represents the National Federation of State High School Associations on NOCSAE’s board of directors and has been a member of the board for more than fifteen years. Bob is the director of Sports and Sports Medicine for the NFHS.

The National Federation of State High School Associations is the national leadership organization for high school sports and performing arts activities. Since 1920, the NFHS has led the development of education-based interscholastic sports and performing arts activities that help students succeed in their lives. The NFHS writes playing rules for seventeen sports for boys and girls at the high school level. Through its fifty-member state associations and the District of Columbia, the NFHS reaches more than 19,500 high schools and twelve million participants in high school activity programs, including more than 7.8 million in high school sports.
