Ann Kitt-Carpenetti
NOCSAE Board Member
The NOCSAE board of directors represents a diverse and passionate group of sport and medical professionals who work together toward the common goal of reducing sport-related injuries. They serve without compensation.

Ann Kitt-Carpenetti is executive director of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) and joined NOCSAE’s board of directors in 2025.
From 2004 until 2023 Ann served as the vice president of lacrosse operations for USA Lacrosse, a role involving the development of lacrosse national best practices, athlete performance, and safety and wellness initiatives. During her tenure, Ann led the National Team and Sport Development programs, and the organization’s Center for Sport Science.
In addition, Ann serves in leadership and advisory roles in several national organizations dedicated to the safety of athletes and the advancement of sport.
The Athletic Equipment Managers Association represents equipment managers across the sports industry. The AEMA’s mission is to promote, advance, and improve the equipment manager’s profession in all its many phases, including advancing improvements for the greater safety of all participants in sports and recreation.
